Help Desk Support

The JRB Team is looking for Help Desk Support with a proven track-record and skill for generating prospective business leads and an interest in a new opportunity in business consulting.

Job Description:

  • Provide first level assistance and a high level of professionalism to internal resources, employees and executives
  • Will be required to document, track and monitor the issues to resolution
  • Provide hardware troubleshooting of laptops, desktops and misc. electronic devices
  • Provide standard onboarding/terming of employees and de-provisioning of outgoing employees
  • Configure and deploy desktop/laptop, create various accounts, provision phone
  • Delete accounts, deactivate equipment, create backups, etc.
  • Provide Microsoft desktop support and assist in the administration of Active Directory
  • Deployment of new machines (laptops, desktops) adding end user to a corporate domain
  • Manage Administrative local privileges on desktops/laptops
  • Install, configure and support Windows 10, Mac-OS, MS Productivity Suite, Office 365, etc. for various scenarios
  • Install and manage security software on desktops and support VPN users
  • Assist in the administration of Active Directory

Requirements:

  • 1 year experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows 10, Mac-OS, Active Directory, MS Office and audio-visual equipment
  • Ability to provide help desk support for standard software packages, virus protection, web browsers, etc.
  • Working knowledge of technical software, hardware, basic networks, system troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Confident in making independent decisions by performing question/problem diagnosis in a Help Desk environment
  • Outstanding customer service and interaction skills; excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to present complicated technical issues with clear easy-to-follow solutions and path forward
  • Experience with password resets, e-mail requests, Fax, Web requests and direct requests for Help Desk support
  • Ability to document, research, identify and attempt to solve or triage technical problems for resolution
  • Experience developing working relationships with functional groups and customers to meet established service level goals
  • Sales, Marketing and Technology Consulting Knowledge is a plus
  • A strong work ethic and a willingness to “go the extra mile”
